Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Marg and myself that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Here’s a first: no loot! I’m down to only having four items out from the library (as opposed to my usual 20+) and with only a week left in town I want to finish all of those before I move. So, even more than usual, I’m desperate to hear what all of you picked up this week so that I can share in the library loot thrill vicariously!
No Loot? Hurray!.. it’great news.. I feel a little pressured with all the looting and reading.. got to slow down at some point! 😉
Just wait until I’m back in Vancouver with a library ever closer at hand! The loot will be neverending.
Having a no loot week doesn’t happen very often for me either.
good luck with your move!
I can see it now…. “It must be moving day, because I’m down to 0 library books.”
Oh well, at least you have the thought of a lovely new library to explore soon.
If only there were a way to transfer holds from one library to the next… Then you could have books waiting for you in your new home!
I don’t know how you’re doing all of this…moving in a week, packing, etc., reading 4 library books, and still blogging. Amazing!
I’ve been trying to scale back on my library usage too. I just get way too many books and they take over the trunk of my car (because I have no room in my tiny apartment bedroom to put my library books AND all the books I own!)
